Adding a Manual Reference

 
The manual entry type should only be used for technical documentation.

Example for a manual entry:

Title:  How to add to the BiBTeX Database through the World Wide Web
Key:  Ample:1996:HAB
Author(s):  Erik X. Ample and Gary E. Neric
Month:  December
Year:  1996
Note:  This is only a generic BiBTeX entry, to use as an example.

Enter your manual reference:

Required fields:

Title:
If you know author and year, generate the Key by taking the first author's last name, a colon, the year from the year field, a colon, and the first letters of the three first main words in the title, otherwise just skip the missing information in the key.
Key:

Optional fields:

Author(s):
Remember to separate the names of the authors by 'and', as in Petter Bjorstad and Jeremy Cook and do not abbreviate first names.
