The conference takes place at the St. Wolfgang Federal Institute for Adult Education (BIfEB - Bundesinstitut für Erwachsenenbildung) located right next to the shores of the Wolfgangsee lake close to the picturesque town of Strobl in the heart of the Austrian Alps.

Despite the fact that the institute belongs to St. Wolfgang it is closer to Strobl (where signs will be leading you to the Bundesinstitut für Erwachsenenbildung).

• Plane

• Munich Airport
  From the Munich Airport take S-Bahn S1 to München Hauptbahnhof (train departures every 20 min, travel time: about 45 min). At München Hauptbahnof take a train to Salzburg Hauptbahnhof (travel time: 2h). In Salzburg you switch to bus number 150 to Strobl (see section bus below).

• Salzburg Airport
  From the Salzburg Airport take bus number 2 to Salzburg Hauptbahnhof where you switch to bus number 150 to Strobl (see section bus below).

• Vienna International Airport
  From the Vienna International Airport take bus number 1187 to Wien Westbahnhof where you change from bus to train to Attnang-Puchheim (Wien Westbahnhof).

• Train

• Wien Westbahnhof or Linz Hauptbahnhof
  Take any train to Attnang-Puchheim. The trip takes about 2 hours 30 minutes from Vienna and about 45 Minutes from Linz.

• Attnang-Puchheim
  Take any train to Bad Ischl. The trip takes about 1 hour. Switch from train to bus to Salzburg (see section bus below).

• Bus

• Salzburg Hauptbahnhof
  The bus terminal is right across the central station. Take bus number 150 to Bad Ischl Bahnhof and step off at Strobl Busbahnhof (after about 1 hour 15 minutes). Take a look at the bus schedule (pdf) to learn more about the route.

• Bad Ischl Bahnhof
  The bus terminal is close to the central station. Take bus number 150 or number 2560 to Salzburg and step off at Strobl Busbahnhof (after about 25 minutes).

• From Salzburg
  Enter the highway A1 to Linz/Wien. Take the exit Thalgau/Fuschl or Mondsee/Wolfgangsee. Routes to Strobl

• From Vienna or Linz
  Enter the highway A1 to Linz/Salzburg. Take the exit Regau or Mondsee/Wolfgangsee. Routes to Strobl
  In Strobl follow the green signs "BIfEB" or take a look at the local map of Strobl.
